Overview
We include keyboard shortcuts within the WHM interface to allow for quicker navigation. You can use some of these shortcuts in any part of the WHM interface, while others only apply to the left navigation menu.

Global shortcuts
Key | Action |

Shift + 8 (Asterisk) | Toggle the menu between Expand all and Collapse all. |
Ctrl + / | Move the cursor to the search box. Note: Use Command + / in MacOS®. |
` (Backtick) | Hide or show the side navigation menu. Note: We added this functionality in cPanel & WHM version 66. |
Alt + F2 | Opens the Support Menu tab. |
Left navigation menu shortcuts

Up | Navigate up the interface or menu. |

Home | Select the first section in the menu. Note: Use Fn + Left arrow in MacOS. |

Esc | Clear the search box. |
Set up browser shortcuts in MacOS
Note:
Firefox or Safari® browser users on the MacOS may need to activate the use of the Tab key to properly navigate the left menu.
To activate use of the Tab key in Firefox, perform the following steps:
- Open System Preferences in your MacOS system.
- Click Keyboard.
- Select Keyboard Shortcuts.
- Select All controls under the Full Keyboard Access section.
To activate use of the Tab key in Safari, perform the following steps:
- Open Safari.
- In the menu bar, click Safari and then select Preferences from the menu.
- Select Advanced from the Preferences window.
- Select the checkbox next to Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage.
